MRCC Timberline Body Mount Kit

For the RC4WD Marlin Hard Bodies to Vanquish VRD Chassis

A purpose-built body mounting solution designed specifically for installing the RC4WD Marlin hard body on the Vanquish VRD chassis.

Clean fitment. Proper support. A performance-oriented mounting position designed around the VRD.

Because the factory rear shock towers remain in place, this kit includes an MRCC Cut Template to guide the installer when trimming the bed around the towers. This creates a cleaner, more controlled cut than measuring and trimming by eye.

Performance-Oriented Body Positioning

The VRD is a performance-focused chassis, so this Timberline kit uses a mounting position that supports that purpose.

The body is positioned approximately 5mm farther rearward, creating additional clearance around the front tires. This allows larger tires to be used with minimal trimming while maintaining a clean overall appearance.

This kit is currently available only in the Essential Package.

Builder and Premium package options are planned for a later date.

Optional Rear Link Set

An optional high-clearance, wheelbase-correcting rear link set is available.

The link set repositions the rear axle to match the body’s performance-oriented mounting position while also improving clearance beneath the truck.

MRCC Cut Template

The rear shock towers on the VRD cannot be removed, making some bed trimming necessary.

The included Cut Template provides a clear guide for trimming cleanly around the rear shock towers and helps remove the guesswork from the installation.

The photos currently show the 1982 Toyota Pickup/Mojave II version of this kit. The Marlin kit uses the same overall design but includes a Marlin-specific rear body mount.

Production components will be black unless additional color options are offered in the future.

This kit does not fit the RC4WD 1982 Toyota or Mojave II bed. The 1982 Pickup/Mojave II uses a different rear mounting system. Please see the dedicated Timberline Body Mount Kit for the 1982 Pickup/Mojave II body.
