The MRCC Hi-Line VFD Swap Skid was designed to replace the bulky stock TF2 drivetrain layout with a cleaner, more capable VFD-based solution.

Instead of the factory FMM and divorced transfer case putting the motor high in the chassis and adding unnecessary complexity, this system installs a Vanquish VFD into the RC4WD Trail Finder 2 chassis with a completely flat belly, a more direct drivetrain layout, and a lower overall center of gravity.

The stock TF2 drivetrain works, but it comes with compromises.

It also includes motor plate support brackets to properly support the VFD motor plates and complete the swap as a full system.

Fitment Note.

This skid transmission swap skid will not work with stock TF2 axles. This will only work with drivers side offset axles.
