MRCC Hi-Line LFD Transmission Swap Skid for RC4WD Trail Finder 2

The Vanquish LFD transmission brings a compact drivetrain package to the RC4WD Trail Finder 2, and the MRCC Hi-Line LFD Transmission Swap Skid was designed to make that combination fit cleanly and intentionally.

Available for both TF2 Regular Wheelbase and Long Wheelbase chassis, this skid replaces the factory transmission and divorced transfer-case layout with a cleaner, more compact setup built around the LFD.

Micro Dig Servo Mount Preorder

The optional MRCC Micro Dig Servo Mount is currently available as a preorder item.

Orders that include the servo mount should allow approximately 10–14 days before shipment while the first production run is completed.

The servo mount is CNC-cut from strong 7075 aluminum and includes the required mounting hardware for installation.

If you need the skid sooner, order the skid without the servo mount and it will follow the normal processing timeline.

The true flat-skid design creates a completely flat belly beneath the chassis.

That gives the TF2 a smooth, snag-free underside with improved breakover capability and removes the low-hanging factory transfer-case arrangement from beneath the truck.

Built Around the LFD

The LFD’s compact design makes it a strong option for the TF2, where packaging space is limited and the factory transmission and transfer-case arrangement takes up a significant amount of room.

The Hi-Line skid positions the LFD specifically for the TF2 chassis, creating a cleaner drivetrain layout while taking full advantage of the transmission’s compact footprint.

Interior Fitment

Because the LFD sits differently than the factory TF2 drivetrain, some trimming of the interior will be required.

The amount of trimming will depend on the body and interior being used.

Builders should test-fit the body and interior during installation and trim only as necessary for proper transmission clearance.

Dig or Non-Dig

The skid is designed to support the LFD transmission whether the dig unit is being used or not.

An optional MRCC Micro Dig Servo Mount is available for builders who want a compact servo mounting solution designed around this installation.
