MRCC Hi-Line LFD Transmission Swap Skid for NWSD Trenchknife

The Vanquish LFD transmission brings a compact drivetrain package to the NWSD Trenchknife, and the MRCC Hi-Line LFD Transmission Swap Skid was designed to make that combination fit cleanly and intentionally.

Because the Trenchknife already features a flat belly, this skid was designed to retain that clean, smooth underside while creating a transmission-specific mounting solution for the LFD.

Micro Dig Servo Mount Preorder

The optional MRCC Micro Dig Servo Mount is currently available as a preorder item.

Orders that include the servo mount should allow approximately 10–14 days before shipment while the first production run is completed.

The servo mount is CNC-cut from strong 7075 aluminum and includes the required mounting hardware for installation.

If you need the skid sooner, order the skid without the servo mount and it will follow the normal processing timeline.

Important Motor Fitment

Because of the tight packaging inside the Trenchknife chassis, a stubby outrunner motor is required to provide proper clearance around the front leaf spring shackle.

Standard-length outrunners may interfere with the shackle and are not recommended for this installation.

The Hi-Line LFD skid preserves that advantage by keeping the underside smooth and free of unnecessary protrusions while packaging the LFD cleanly inside the chassis.

Built Around the LFD

The LFD’s compact footprint makes it a strong match for the Trenchknife, but the chassis packaging is tight.

The Hi-Line skid positions the transmission specifically for this platform while maintaining clearance around the suspension and leaf spring hardware. A stubby outrunner motor is required to clear the front leaf spring shackle.

The result is a clean, intentional drivetrain layout that makes the most of the available space inside the chassis.

Dig or Non-Dig

The skid is designed to support the LFD transmission whether the dig unit is being used or not.
